January 2010 - current
Freelance graphic designer
Between creating logos, advertisements, and labels for clients and making things just for fun (wedding invitations and printables, as well as labels for my home brew beer!), I’ve been honing my graphic design skills since finishing university. With clients like Raptor Racing, OrganiTea, the Alberta Council of Disability Services, and the Glamorgan Wado Kai Karate Club, I’ve had the opportunity to exercise my design muscles and keep learning with every project.

October 2013 - October 2014 (Maternity leave contract)
Creative Design Specialist, CBRE Limited
Responsible for creating marketing materials for properties for sale for the National Investment Team in Calgary.
This includes 30 - 80 page Confidential Information Memorandums, one-off event invitations, advertisements for print, four-page marketing brochures, and single page fact sheets. Also served as a resource for marketing assistants in the company to help with InDesign and Photoshop issues and troubleshooting.
I wish I could have stayed, but maternity leave contracts have an end date!

Created business cards and advertising materials (destined for both print and web), as well as coordinating the redevelopment of www.gicor.ca in Wordpress. Provided administrative and shipping / receiving assistance when required.
